Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.

Youngstown is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Youngstown follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. My beef is with the process. Mercy health will text you email you and call you 20 times before your scheduled appointment but you get zip for the dental bus. The first time we waited six months for the dental bus it broke down and so we had to reschedule waited another six months got there on time only be told that my daughter needed her ID and I needed the guardianship paperwork which no one told me about when we made the appointment. So again no dental visit and on top of that the person older gentleman who did the paperwork was a smart ass and I didnβt appreciate it. Iβm sure the dental hygienist were very nice, but Iβm done with it.

Went in for tooth pain a few days ago and they did absolutely nothing for it. Didnβt even look at the tooth. Just said they wanted to pull my wisdom teeth out. The tooth that Iβm having pain is isnβt even next to where my wisdom teeth would be coming in. So my wisdom teeth is not the cause for my tooth pain. I feel like they are just eager to pull peoples teeth so they have more training. Even when itβs not necessary. Good lord lol!

My wife went in for a dental emergency due to sever pain sheβs been having daily. They did x-rays and found infections on two molars on either side of her face. Instead of treating her they sent her home with antibiotics and an appointment for December. My wife will be dead of sepsis before then. They just willingly sent my wife home to die. Mouth infections can quickly become a death sentence and yet they think she can wait 7months!!?? This is either sever ignorance or flat malpractice. This place has no right to call itself a medical emergency dental clinic. And needs to be investigated immediately. If this is common practice they are sending people home to die. Edit: I emailed them and never got a reply. This place has some serious ethical issues.

Waited 6 months for my daughter's wisdom tooth extraction consult. What a joke, the place is disgusting and the bathrooms were nasty. I won't eat at a restaurant with a dirty bathroom, and sure the heck won't have dental work done at a place with nasty bathrooms. When getting her X-rays, they use a sandwich bag for the cover where you have to bite down. Is this medical grade material now? Upon talking to someone we believe was the Dr. ( No introduction) she kept referring to two wisdom teeth when she has three to be extracted. We corrected her several times. My daughter was warned they may hit a nerve and she could have nerve damage for 6-8 months but possibly just 2 months !!! π΅βπ« When asked if we had any questions , we asked a few and she said ask the receptionist when you schedule. She scheduled her a year out and we asked nothing because we will not be returning. What a waste of time....oh and trying to find the actual dental department, have fun...there's no sign out front so you park in the parking garage and literally walk 4 blocks and guess what door to go in.
